HOW DO I GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE?
Emails are the best way to contact us info@muavee.com. Our phone lines are reserved for day of coordination and our cancellation list. Please avoid texting or dm’ing us your inquiry and instead book online or fill out an online booking request. We will get back to you ASAP!
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Makeup Appointments are booked directly on our website under the BOOK section above. If you are looking to book for a weddings please click here.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Appointments can be made up to 60 days in advance. When a month opens up we will post on instagram @muaveemakeupstudio to notify everyone that bookings for that month are now being accepted, please turn on instagram notifications if you are waiting to book. Advance bookings are reserved for groups of 4+, if you meet the 4 person minimum please send an email info@muavee.com to book. Please note we DO NOT book via text or phone, please submit everything online.
HOW DO I BOOK WITH MUAVEE/MELANIE?
To book with Melanie please click the “Makeup with MUAVEE” or “, “out of studio with MUAVEE” option when booking online.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
MUAVEE Makeup Studio is located at 7181 Yonge Street unit 209 inside the Shops on Yonge mall. We are on the second floor, down the hallway behind the elevators. Parking is free underground.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS?
Cancellations or no show appointments are non-refundable, we do however offer rescheduling with no penalty up until 48 hours before your appointment time. We do not offer “credits” toward future services if you are not able to make your appointment, please reschedule via your email booking confirmation.
I DON’T SEE ANY AVAILABILITY ONLINE, CAN YOU SQUEEZE ME IN?
We are happy to book as many people as possible, however if we are fully booked we will not be able to squeeze you in. If you wish to be added to the waitlist please text 647-204-5614 and we will get back to you if a spot opens up.
HOW LONG DOES AN APPOINTMENT TAKE?
Each appointment time may are depending on the look you are going for. When booking we will block off the maximum time for each person to allow us time for each look, your appointment may be shorter than what is listed on the website.

DO YOU BOOK APPOINTMENTS OUTSIDE OF POSTED HOURS?
We will always try to accommodate, however we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. Please email us if you booking needs to be done outside of business hours info@muavee.com

We offer out of studio appointments, please click here to book.

I SENT AN EMAIL, HOW LONG DOES A RESPONSE TAKE?
We try and respond within 48 hours of your booking requests, however some emails require a bit more time. Please allow us 48 hours before following up.
MAKEUP QUESTIONS
HOW DO I PREP FOR A MAKEUP APPOINTMENT?
Please wash your face and moisturize with no oils or SPF. Please DO NOT WAX your face within a week of your appointment. Makeup does not stick to waxed skin, if you are needing to remove hair please tweeze or thread the week of your appointment. Facials and exfoliants are also recommended, please do not do extractions within 4 days of your appointment.
HOW LONG WILL MY MAKEUP LAST?
With proper maintenance makeup should last 16+ hours. In some cases makeup can last 1-2 days however we do not recommend you sleep in your makeup as to not trigger reactions or breakouts.
HOW LONG WILL MY LASHES LAST?
Lashes should be removed at the end of the day as sleeping in your lashes can damage them. Most lashes are disposable, however faux mink lashes can e re-used up to 30X.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
Each of our kits are fully loaded with many SEPHORA/High end brands, we pride ourselves on having some of the best makeup the industry has to offer. Some of our favourites include; NARS, Natasha Denona, Armani, Dior, Chanel, Tarte, Laura Mercier and many more.
HOW DO I TOUCH UP?
Depending on the condition of your skin, touch ups may or may not be required. We recommend most people touch up with a finishing powder and lipstick. We will provide a sample size of your lipstick for touch up for each appointment.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR AN AT HOME VISIT/APT?
Please have a table cleared for us, preferably close to a window or natural light with a counter height stool.
HAIR QUESTIONS
HOW DO I PREP FOR A HAIR APPOINTMENT?
Please come with clean dry hair to an appointment. If you are coming for a blow-dry please come with damp washes hair.
HOW LONG DOES EACH STYLE LAST?
Depending on the style that you ask for your style should last for the day of, some styling may last longer.
CAN YOU PUT EXTENSIONS IN FOR ME?
Extensions can be placed for you if they are provided at a small fee. Please add this “ADD ON” when booking your appointment.
DO YOU PROVIDE EXTENSIONS?
No, we do not provide or sell extensions. If you are needing extensions please purchase them before your appointment. There are many places to buy extensions but some of our favourites are; Mulberry Hair extensions, Bellami
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR AN AT HOME VISIT/APT?
Please have a table cleared, preferably somewhere with good ventilation and near an electrical outlet and a chair with a low back.
